Y'all!!!!!!!! I absolutely love this case. I think it looks even better in person than it does in the picture. I am constantly droping my phone, whether it's on my bed or on pavement, so I'm a bit suprised that my phone hasn't gotten so much as a scratch.
I ordered the matte version, and it's very smooth. Based off of my research on the differences between matte and glossy, most people prefer glossy due to its smoothness and the shine to it. However, with it being smooth, it would also be easier to drop. Needless to say, I went with what would last me the longest.
The design on the case is not textured and does not feel like some todler stuck a lot of stickers on the back.
The case under 'iPhone 8' is compatible with an 8, 7, and an SE 2020, which is what I have. It's a bit of a snug fit but I won't be fidgeting with the corner
